Mounts for bar running above engine side to side V70-XC70 2006

If memory serves me correctly, the bar used to be rather rigid in its mounts, ie, you could not roll it back and forth. Currently it is sloppy, ie. the bar can be rolled back and forth. It appears that there is a rubber mount, one at each end and a large square one in the middle of the bar where it attaches to the top of the engine. First, is this slop normal? Second, if not, I assume replacing bushings and checking engine mounts would be advisable. The car has 68K miles on it.

The bar needs to be very rigid.

Vielen Dank Klaus! Three rubber parts (two end mounts and one engine mount (upper)). Remaining engine mounts look great, so I don't know why only the upper ones have gone, unless it is heat related!

      Thank you

The upper engine mount takes all of the torque stress from the engine. It is not heat related, just a poor design.
