SCAN TOOL 850 1997

Has anybody found a affordable scan tool that covers more than just the basic emission codes. Something that will look at brakes, transmission, airbags, etc.
Back when I worked in a repair shop I had access to the Snap-On scan tool, but that not an affordable option any more.

They do exist. The cheaper versions like the ELM427 use a lap top, which I don't have, and require a long learning curve.

You might want to look at this for $120+:

apparently those scanners do not work with "older" vehicles like an 850

It used to work with the 850. The video below was published on Feb 8, 2014.

If you go to the UK web site, the 850 is NLA. Strange, the 850 is only 20 years old!!!
