Slow and bumpy give a bad rattle that sounds near front passenger side underneath. Could it be bad rear strut mounts throwing their voice? Some kinda heat shield? I already threw one of those off on the driver's side...Need a check of all suspension and bushings I guess.
Thanks!!

For strut mounts, try turning the large top bolt clockwise. If it turns easily and does not bounce back, you found a source of the rattle.

End links: Turn the wheels to the left, reach behind the wheel and grab the vertical bar. If it moves at all replace it.

For anything else, grab a rubber mallet and pound anything to see if it yells back. That includes brake calipers, heat shields, suspension bits, etc.

Be safe - check your tie rods and ball joints/control arm bushings.

If the sway bar end links were cheap ones they might not last very long...

Doubt it is the strut mounts. When my strut mounts went south they made more of a squeaking noise going over bumps.

Thanks. Hmm. I did them not too long ago, and the symptoms at that time were different, but will check.
