Hi there,
I have a question regarding the 2 electric fans on my 2000 S 40: when should they turn on? Do they turn on independently on certain particular situation(s) or at same time? Tks

A low speed fan and a high speed fan. They operate independently and controlled by the ECU. Turning the AC on will cause the fan to turn on.

Keeping it running is better than buying new

Tks Klaus. Which one will the A/c turn on? The one on passenger side? How about the other on driver,s is it turn on when engine reaches a certain temperature? Tks again for yr help
