oh man this is a lonely site. I pull the trigger and purchased a 05 with mileage. v8 very cheap but may have bite more than I can chew. driving the first 100 miles the oil light comes on also triangle in red saying car has no oil pressure stop when this happen checked oil is was low added oil notice leak near dipstick area. being 100 miles from home and in country chanced it and drove home. car ran fine, kept check on temp in case this was true would shutdown at first notice of heat rise. never happen car an normal could this be bad sensor. leak or what? has this happen to anyone else. need help never dealth with v8 before.

    update dealer wanted 2500 to drop oilpan and clean, decided on chemical clean with marvel mystry oil. good results so far light staying off will change frequently and add more. previous owner didn't change oil regular. now need help with oilseal leak under timing cover. anyone have advice never worked on v8. thanks for any help

      that's what I have concluded after driving 100 miles and no problem. does anyone know where this sensor is or would this be a dealer fix. also had engine checked at advance codes p022 intake camshaft timing and p0450 came up. thanks for any help....
