Transmission and AWD oil change intervals... V70-XC70 2007

All,

So I'm close to getting my AWD back up and running and have just completed the oil change in the transmission, angle gear, Haldex, and rear differential.

Can anyone tell me or point me in the right direction as to what are the manufacture's recommended change intervals for all of these components as the PO had not done them, and I want to keep it running now that they have been done and the AWD is now once again working.

Thanks in advance,

Matt

Front axle and rear axle fluid change over at 60k miles if you are using OEM fluids or other comparable brand.
If you are using Amsoil Diff fluids and go with the severe gear fluids and are not towing then 100k should be no problem.
AOC change intervals, Volvo Claims lifetime! Don't believe them.
I have had very in depth conversations with the engineers of the AOC units. Change intervals per them are at 50K, change out the AOC Fluids and the filter unit at the same time. This will go along way in not burning out the AOC Drive Motor which is an expensive repair.

Any questions you can contact me at rpiescik@weareoil.com

Thanks and have a great day.
Bob

Rear diff at around 150K miles. The other fluids at around 60K miles. Of course, if you like to spin all 4 wheels and then hit bare pavement, the angle gear oil will overheat rapidly and the splines will go away!

Keeping it running is better than buying new
