Hello. Does a 98 V70 have the upper child seat tether anchors for forward facing car seats? We cannot seem to find them in the car anywhere! The fire department said that the anchors in the back that **we thought were for the child seats** were actually hooks for securing luggage (??)

If these truly do not exist on a 98 V70, does Volvo provide retrofitting for these anchors?

I believe the anchor points you're looking for are on the back side of the seat back. They're under the little plastic covers that are always coming off and trying to get lost...

Sadly, 98 V70 has no tether anchors. They were still optional until 99. Have to go for the retrofit.
