why does xc60 beep at me S60 2016

I brought home my new to me xc60 and it beeps when I walk near it. I can't figure out why. Can someone explain?

Never mind, I just discovered the sound was coming from my garage door opener. Just a coincidence that is started when I put the car in my garage for the first time.
