I need to replace the turbo on my 98 v70 xc. I would like to replace it with a newer s/v/c60 r model turbo and down pipe. Dose anyone have advise, forums, videos, part list, and were to buy it all?

You have a low pressure turbo and unless you make modifications to the software a high pressure turbo will probably not do you much good. Be careful, as the wrist pins may not be able to handle the pressure from a 19G turbo in your engine.

I suggest looking in turbobricks.com or sweedspeed.com for suggestions.

The only time your turbo needs replacing is if the impeller bearing wears out, which is rare. Most of the time it is the rubber seals that need replacing and a good 'rebuild' is all that is needed. Please look at this older post:
