hello everyone does anyone know where i could buy a steering rack for my 98 volvo v70 nonturbo part number is 8251305 & 6800275 this rack is discountinued by the manufacturer

    Turbo/non-turbo doesn't make a difference as far as I know. But, you need to know if it is TRW or SMI. The
    TRW boots will have TRW stamped in the rubber. The rack itself will have France (SMI) embossed on it, or UK for TRW at the bottom of the rack.

    There are 'recondition' firms, but you need to know if it is SMI or TRW before ordering complete racks or seals.

    First, I checked Jorgen which has an excellent reputation as a rack rebuilder. Unfortunately, they have gone out of business.

    FCPEURO gives you a choice of a TRW or Volvo OEM rack. OEM is back ordered:
