Broken hose, need help identifying V70-XC70 1998

Hi all,

1998 V70R

I was replacing my rear Nivomats, all was going well until I noticed this rusted and broken hose. Where mine snapped off was at the top of the bottom bracket of the Nivomat, but it feeds into here (see pic). I'm assuming a brake hose but nothing is leaking so perhaps it's clogged up with rust? I don't know.

Thanks,

Wes

Your parking brake still working? I'm not so familiar with that generation AWD rear wheel package, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that's part of the parking brake system.

      Hi Will,

I think that you're correct after looking at it further and the fact that my parking brake is not working.

      Thanks,

      Wes
