SUNROOF - WON'T OPEN V70-XC70

It jerks a bit - 1/8" but thats it - fuses are OK

Its a 2002 V70 T-5

What to check?

    Up/down or back/forward? If back doesn't work, then there is something in the track that keeps it from moving. Tilt it up to check for obstruction on either side.

    If it won't go up, then the plastic base of the rear lever has broken off and that can be a real pain.

      The type in the car SLIDES from front to rear horizontally. Just jerks a bit - thats all, so I know power is getting to it

        Use the switch to raise the rear of the moon roof and look in the rails for an obstruction, like a twig or maple seed.

        Do you have access to a VIDA DiCE scanner? I am wondering if you have codes related to the Upper Electronics Module (UEM), which is housed in the rear view mirror.
