Water pump Q V70-XC70

Volvo XC70 20011 130k
My coolant low light is on so I added to the reservoir and there is yellow gunk in there.
Now I notice a leak coming from under the car same side as the reservoir. Is that where the water pump is located?

Water pump Q V70-XC70

Turned out a crack in the expansion/coolant reservoir and the yellow gunk was from dissimilar antifreeze that I added over the years(50/50 premixed)
Having the system flushed
Mechanic found a crack in the motor mount which will be replaced
Maybe the leak was a blessing in disguise

Water pump is driven by the serpentine belt, driver's side. It is recommended to replace the water pump when replacing the belt. Both before 120K miles.

Check all of the connections under the reservoir with a clean paper towel to find any leaks.

I am concerned about the 'yellow gunk'

Thx klaus
I wish there was a transmission stick so I could see if the gunk was on that. My 240 had the transmission cooler go and purged with the coolant and the stick is reminding me of that problem.
Obviously a coolant flush very shortly.
