NEW FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR V70-XC70

Am replacing the fuel pressure sensor with the 'newer' type - Bosch 0261230110.
Have heard the original one was a problem waiting to happen - what exactly was the issue? - and is the new one an improvement?

Reason - at times the car would just stumble and stall at idle or when slowing down - once running was fine though

I am glad you didn't wait for the engine to die or not start 50 miles from home. You done good!

Thanks Klaus - is this new one an 'improvement' over original?

I guess I should change every so often, from now on - every 2 years?

The old one was supposed to last forever. The new one corrects the fault. Additional replacement not needed.
