Transmission Fluid Level after Radiator Replacement V70-XC70 2004

Hi all,
2004 XC-70 195K, just replaced the radiator last week... wow fun!!
Anyway, I know there was some ATF that leaked out during the process, and I'm assuming some that was left in the old radiator. I checked the ATF level today using the suggested method of making sure the car was at temp, cycle through gears, park on level surface and check on level surface. The level seemed to be right on the T in HOT at the top of the dipstick, did it 3 times to check.
From my estimate I only lost 4-6 oz out of the house and whatever was in the radiator. Should I just try to add that amount of ATF regardless, or go with my reading? Maybe take to mechanic to make sure?
Thanks so much!

Out of curiosity, did you replace the radiator due to a leak or as preventative maintenance. I have a 2007 V70 with 160k. Maybe I am almost due for a radiator? Did you also replace the hoses?
Best
Steve

Thanks for all the responses! I am going to check the level again this weekend just to be safe. I did replace it due to a leak. I probably should've replaced the hoses as well, but they honestly didn't feel to stiff or look that bad.
I do want to replace the lower turbo hose soon, that looked horrific!

Call me a dodo brain, but I would never swap a radiator due to age. I would always replace antifreeze hoses if the radiator gets replaced.

Ditto

Volvo hoses last a long time but I've had to replace some when they get on the long side of 10 years old. Luckily for me, I've only had to replace one Volvo radiator.

Considering the amount of ATF in the transmission, a couple of ounces will make NO difference. Most of the ATF in the radiator will have drained to the tranny when you turned the engine off.

No need to worry.

+1
I wouldn't risk overfilling your transmission. You're better off too low than too full.

I would go with what I read on the dip stick.
