Spark plug brand V70-XC70 2003

A Volvo friend recommended that I only use Volvo brand plugs but are $65 for 5 at FCP. Bosch Copper Core only 1.79 each, anyone have experience with them? Also Bosch OEM Platinum about half ($33), opinions?

    Hi Bonzo,

I've never seen any advantage to pricey platinum plugs.

I looked at Ebay for prices, don't be in a rush to overpay.
NGK plugs work good, but I'd get the Bosch OE.

Make sure you gap them and use some anti seize on the threads.
Use anti seize on all steel hardware into aluminum.

I looked at Bostik never-seez prices and got sticker shock.
Grab this for your tool box, great if you want stuff to come apart easier later.
