Will 15" rims from 200 fit 700??? 700 89

Hola Bricksters:

I have a set of 4, 5-spoke 15" rims from a middle 80's 240 turbo. Will these fit onto my wife's 89 740 with the different front calipers (than the 4 piston Girling's on the 240)?

I hope so, cuz I may be driving the 740 as soon as I buy that 93 245 I have my eye on.

    I think the answer is NO. If the 89 740 has the 11.25 inch rotors and

    girling calipers, and the wheels in question are 15" alloy turbo 240 wheels

    then I'll wager everything on NO. I tried it once. had to take the wheels back and get a set of meatslicers for my '89 745ti. I'll be the first to say, they look great.
