Wolkswagen wheels fit?

I'd like to fit on my 440 15" wheels coming from a WW Golf (1990). Is it possible?

Golf wheels might fit. AFAIK most use 4x100 PCD wheels too like the 400 series (at least the standard golf types and not types like the VR6 or GTI, which use 5x100 wheels) and the offset should be similar as well.

You may run into problems with the size of the central hole in the wheel. There may be a difference there.. It has to be the right size, otherwise you will always get vibrations if it's only held in place by the wheel bolts.

Dear Arno, wheels that I want to install are 4 fastening holes because they are coming from a II series Golf (more then 10 years ago). So you say that the distance between holes is the same for golf and 440 and they fit for sure if the numbers of holes is the same?
