Wheel Bearing life ? 850 1997

Hello,

Anyone know what the expected life of front wheel bearings is for an R (or any 850 for that matter) ?

Thx in advance.

    Wheel Bearing life ? 850 1996

On this thread, can a rocking wheel (mainly at 3 and 9 PM) be from a bad bearing? Can't see any movement in the tie rod end or settering rack; non in the ball joint. In a manual tranny 850 with gear engaged, how much rotational play should there be? There's no grinding noise to indicate a bad hub bearing, but where else can the looseness be coming from?

i replace both sides at 98,000 miles. both went bad at the same time, along with the lower ball joints.

Changed the front right at 98 km. Not to sure if it's the right life expectancy because my car was crashed one day on this side and all the different parts that were changed ( end of sway bars, ball joint, bearing) were all on this side of the car.
