Heater Core C70 1999

I've been away for a while, but wanted to thank everybody for their help with my heater core troubles... They did have to take off the dash apparently to access the heater core, but I called VCNA and amazingly, they picked up 2/3 of the tab despite my car being 20,000 miles out of warranty. Just thought that after all the negativity normally said about VCNA it might suprise people to hear a good story (it suprised me, that's for sure). The car is running fine now and I'm looking forward to installing some slotted rotors.

    Hey Bret,

    Just found this recent post re; your heater core.


    Can you please give me as much detail as possible about your contact with VCNA and how you got them to pay 2/3 or the bill. Did you have the repair done first and the reimburrsed you? My 99 V70R AWD has the same problem and I am only 9500km over the warranty limit.
