Passenger side climate control doesn't heat as well as driver's side. 850

Greetings again,

Long story short: the pass. side blows cool air when on max heat. Driver's side is as hot as can be. Just changed t-stat today (many thanks to Volvospeed.com/Bay 13) thinking that would do it. It did make the temp gauge go to the right area, but did not help the heating.
My thought: something is wrong with the passenger side temp knob or circuit. Checked archives, saw post regarding a sensor above the glove box. Will check that, but does anyone have any other ideas?
I'm getting tired of hearing the wife complain about being cold.
She's cold enough already. ; )

As always, thanks for your help.

When took my heater fan out to silence its squeaking I noticed that the little arm that controls the reciruclate door had been put on backwards, so the door was halfway open. In this halfway state, outside air was being dumped out to the pasengers foot.

I blame the mechanic who replaced my evaporator for putting it on backwards.

Jim- may I suggest that all the vent control knobs should be closed to maximize heating(or cooling in the summer). So make sure the vents close to the passenger door and near the pass. seat are both closed(I believe this is turning it 'SOUTH'). Also the airmix knob should be turned 'NORTH'. If this doesnt help(or already in the right positions) it may be a sensor or something!
    Good luck,BD
