O2 Sensor 850 1997

Trying to install an A/F ratio meter..4 wires on the O2 sensor...Black,Grey, White,White.which wire does the A/F gauge connect to? I have tried them all, but no dice.. should it go on the 1st o2 sensor or the one that connects to the Cat Conv.?

    Go for 1st sensor ie as close to exhaust port as possible.

    850 uses heated lambda so two wires will be +12V and Gnd - easy enough to figure with a voltmeter. One of the others must have the lambda signal. Presume you are grounding the A/F meter also.
