removing glue from dash panels

I just recently removed my wood dash kit from my 98 s70. There is still alot of glue residue left on the origanal gray panels. Any ideas as to how to remove this? Is there some sort of chemical solution? Thanks,

    I have had success removing glue, grease and other reside from cloth, plastic, wood and leather with WD-40. I would tey it on a small hidden area first. One of my friends used some kind of cleaner with an orange base with similar results. Good luck!
