Battery hold down clamp? 850 1995

Hello,

I spent the afternoon Saturday taking inventory of things on my "new" 95 855t and came away with a short list of things I need to address.

One is the battery hold-down clamp or strap seems to be missing. The rear of the battery, (a Volvo battery BTW) at the front of the air filter housing, is held under a lip in the tray but there isn't anything at the front or side to clamp it in place. It's free to slide left or right a couple of inches on the tray. Whats missing? Anyone know of an on-line source for used Volvo parts like this?

Thanks,
Erwin in Memphis

There is a plastic clamp at the front of the battery that clamps
it down to the tray (so the clamp is down at the bottom). It
locks the battery in place. It can be kind of difficult to put
in place; and if you did not take it off, hard to figure out how
it goes back in. If you pick-up the part at a dealer ask to
see another car (or part drawing) to see how it is orientated.

There is a little plastic clip that fix the battery at the end of the rail. Must be a unexpensive part.

Thanks for the replies. I'll swing by the dealership and pick one up.
