door lock 850 1994

This problem just started. The door lock on the drivers side won't lock or unloc the door or any of the other doors. The remote entry and the passenger key lock works fine including locking the drivers door. Any help would be apprecaiated. thanks bob

    I don't know the specifics of the wiring but the lock is an electric one. When you turn the key you are not physicaly moving the lock but are instead activating a actuator that unlocks the doors. This is why the lock "jumps up" when you have only turned the key part way in the lock. There is probably a short or loose connection at the cylinder.
