Fraser, Visted site, quite impressive. What really caught my eye though was the strut tower brace. I was under the impression that Volvo did not makre a right hand drive Strut Brace for the 850. At least that is what they are telling me in Australia. Where did you get yours from? Do you have a Volvo part number?? It looks way better than the Kalmar one.

    Interest in you feedback.

I was thinking about putting a how to section on the website but felt it was covered adequately by other sites, such as bay 13. I would also strongly reccomend purchasing a Haynes manual for this vehicle.

There are simple 'how-to's' on the useful info and links page i.e. ressetting service light and error codes.

Thanks again for all the positive responses

      Fraser.

A great site. I learned a few things, mainly that I had not appreciated the difference between the T5, T5R and 850R in that the 850R engine has stronger conrods and can be taken up to 330 hp. Keep up the good work!!

Great site! I'm thinking of modding my intake to reverse the flow to the intercooler like you suggested but the new hoses comes up to about US$220, do U think that's a fair price?

      No,
i think its way over the top, go to a breakers yard that specialises in Volvos and get the hoses from a 93/94 Turbo; thats what I did and they fit just fine

Problem is I'm in Singapore and breaker yards specializes on Jap cars and the German makes only. Rarely see a Volvo complete and all early models are NA versions (aka GLE).
