Is it possible to clear the check engine and/or the service light for a 97 850 by disconnecting the battery for awhile?
Is it a good idea?
I am debating whether to buy the IPD scan tool or the obd-2.com package (I'll have to borrow a laptop to use it). Which is preferable?

    I have the obd2.com interface and i am able to turn off the service light and read trouble codes. you can add an extension cord and use the computer in the house.bob
