Lug nut torque lbs.? C70

What is the proper ft. lbs. for tightening the lug nuts on a C70 w/17" wheels?
I know if they are over tightened, the rotors can warp.
Thanks for any info.
Butchman.

The owners manual covers it on the page devoted to changing a flat.
Now, why they list the setting and don't supply a torque wrench
with the jack is something to wonder about :)

My manual say 81 lb/ft. Yours should be the same.

Haynes manual states 81 ft-lbs.

I think your main concern is varying torque on the wheel, use a torque wrench to keep them all the same. I have used 100 ft-lbs for years on many cars and have never had a problem.

I’m not 100% positive, but since the C70 and the 850 are related, the 81 ft.lbs. used on the 850 is probably a good bet.
