Tailgate latch 850

My tailgate latch doesn't want to lock at all.
Any idea if something can be done?
Do I have to change the whole latch?

    It's probably the latch assembly as parts for it (like the lock actuator) aren't available seperately from Volvo BUT I'd advise checking for voltage at the actuator when the lock is engaged/disengaged first to be sure.
