I just got my t5r a month ago and am still waiting for my manual. Earlier today I unplugged the sc 811 head unit to see how my alpine deck would fit and when I plugged the sc811 back in it asked for a code. After three times of me putting in random numbers it shut off and I cant get the screen to turn on. I don't know the previous owners code, so my question is if there is any way to reset the deck and put in a new password? Or if there is any other way to get my radio working again. Thank you.

Once you get the code you need to reset the radio to accept the code. As I recall you need to turn on the key to position I (accessory on) and let sit a few hours.

Then you should see 'code' again and be able to enter the code. But again you only have 3 chances!

You can get the code from your dealer. You'll need to give them the serial # of the deck and/or your vin# and show them proof of ownership (registration).

I just did this about a week ago. If you live pretty far from the dealer and if you don't want to go all the way down there (to the dealership) , just call them and pretend that you were down there earlier and that they gave you the wrong code. Read them your info and they will give the code to you over the phone. They're not supposed to do this, but chances are that they will.

I paid $11,900 for it. It had 127,000 miles on it so thats why it was so cheap. Had my local volvo guy check it out first, it passed, and now I pass anyone I want on the road! Plan on putting in an ipd ecu, already got a custom exhaust and cold air intake. After the ecu I should be able to run sub 6 second 0-60 runs easy. Had the car for a month and already embarrassed a 3000gt, 96' stang gt, and my friends accord, that he thinks is sweet(this was a f*cking joke). If you can get your hands on one I strongly suggest you do. These things are great examples of power and prestige, a true performance luxury sedan.
