I followed the instructions posted on this site and did the tranny flush myself on the weekend. It is really a "cake walk" (like you guys said.) Thank you all for willing sharing your experience. This positive experience makes me feel I can do more myself on the car since the dealer is kind far away and the shop is closed on weekends.

I have a Toyota Camry (92) and would like to flush the tranny too. I will appreciate if someone can point me a website for Toyota camry like this site. Thanks.

I just checked the equip at the dealer, and it is a GOOD type of flush. They put in a BG cleaner, let it run for about 15 mins, then do a FORWARD flush.. It does clean the garbage out quite well. Actually, I would do this typw every 15 - 30k miles. I do a lot of mtn driving. Sorry about the earlier response. I have seen the reverse flushes absolutely ruin a transmission.

Here is a note, if you are talking about a reverse flush of a tranny. DON'T!!!
Actually, the designer of that little machinery and process owns several transmission shops in the US. He will NOT use that process... If it is not a reverse flush that you are talking about, then print this out and out it in the bathroom..on a roll.... If it is.. Get to be really good friends with a reputable transmission shop soon. Buy them lunch etc...... You will need them soon...Thanks...

Too late! I already did my tranny flush. I will appreciate if you could tell me a bit more. Why is it so terrible of tranny flush? What's the reverse flush? Thanks.
