A spark plug is not a HP accessory and no matter what, your best plug is the OEM plug sold at.....................yes, your Volvo dealer. No matter what BS you might read elsewhere, all it has to do is spark, nothing more. The OEM plug will last the longest with the least amount of possible plug related problems.
Even with mods? Yep, I even use the OEM specific plug for a HP engine with nitrous and it works just fine, no probs.

Accel makes a "super coil" that's supposed to work, but it costs less than the stock bosch coil for the 850 series, doesn't the S70 have the coil packs on the plugs? (I forget)

as for hi-po plugs?
some report sucess with denso irridium (I think ngk makes an irridium plug too)
but I use stock

The 98's ignition is basically the same as the 850s. Changed to one
coil per plug in 99 (I believe) when electronic throttle and such
were added.

Stock plugs work fine in my 98 T5M (stock). I've always thought the
coil looked kind of undersized on our cars. I would think an ignition
upgrade would start upstream of the plugs but have not heard much in
terms of after market parts for the ignition system.
