1993 850 questions..... 850

I have a manual 93, never cjanged the fluid in the transmisison, do i have to change it cause it is a manual transmission?

Since this is a 93 thread, need to ask a few of you guys, how can i find alloy wheels for the 4 lug 108mm pattern(93's)? Or is it possible to convert to 5 lug hubs from the junk yard, would these hubs fit with out problems?

Is there a twin muffler set available for this model(supersprint) heard of, haven't seen it.

Looking to cool down my cone filter housing, and want to know if there is aluminum piping available in the same form from the intake to airbox area.

Where can i find some lowering not dropping springs with quality shocks, under a reasonable price...it is a 93, but i plan on to keep it til 2093.

Just going to get the whole clutch set replaced. Along with the rear main seal, and the driveshaft seals too. What else is needed to replace in this process? Sorry for so many questions. I need all the info i can.

Reasonable is under a grand if not i'll live with the 6 spoke 15's(still clean), seems these days to lower an 8 series is no less than a grand! If i had that potential (my car would also have 285hp), but i don't and will be looking to mod my car modestly, till my maybe comes true!

My Haynes manual says change trans fluid every 60K miles.

Are you looking for the stock Cetus alloys? eBay would be a good place to watch. If you aren't looking for Volvo wheels, TireRack and Discount Tires Direct both show a pretty good selection of 4 bolt wheels for the '93. I expect that you could convert to 5 bolt with parts from a later year, but haven't done it, so won't advise. BTW, if you are looking for the '93 4-bolt Cetus wheels, it is possible that I might have 3 available.

IPD, Euro Sport Tuning and I am sure several sources are available for lowering springs and shocks/struts. You didn't define what 'reasonable' was :-)

The clutch slave cylinder went out on my '93 about a year ago (before I bought it). Don't know how common that is, but while you are changing the clutch, checking the master and slave would probably be a good idea.

    Can't help with the rest...
