COUPLE OF QUESTIONS ON 850 TURBO 850 1995

I would like to know what are peoples opinion on the following questions.

1. Has anyone used non-volvo oil filters(such as Bosch, Mann ), which ones, any problems ? any recommended mail order sites to buy filters.

2. what is the longest someone has gone without changing the Timing belt..i have 76000 miles and wanted to know if I am way over due.

3. Time Interval for plug wires..still original..

Mann makes Volvo filters. Yes, 76k is over due, t belt is at 60k. IPD sells Volvo filters for $5 + shipping. I buy 5 at a time.. A years worth..

Purolator is good also. Forget Fram. Change the belt. It's cheap and if it goes you're in for some real big bucks.

Mann makes volvo filters. Don't try for 76100 miles. Change the belt NOW. Broken belt=$$$$$$$$$. 100k on plug wires is not unheard of.

    Mann's the same as OEM.

Change your T-belt ASAP, don't wait.

Wires last a very long time, most people replace them prematurely with cap and rotor as preventative maintenance rather than wait until problems begin. I'd say about 120K is a "fair" estimate, give or take a few.
