Frozen door locks 850 1995

We have two 850s, a wagon and a sedan. Both front door locks freezr up whenever it is wet followed by freezing.

Can anyone tell me how thw locks freeze?

Is the freezing due to condensation? Does water leak into the door handles?

Any suggestions on a cure? I'vr tried graphite and WD 40. (Not at the same time)

Do you mean the lock cylinder? I haven't had very good luck with WD 40 in spite of it's name (Water Displacement formula #40). I use gun oil (CRC) myself. Might also try silicone spray.

Moving would be nice. Convience stores shoud sell something to unfreeze locks. Its a little bottle with a nozzle and some chemical that releases heat. Or just hope either the trunk lock or the passenger lock isn't frozen. I just moved to florida nad don't have to worry about freezing locks either!
