water drain under car not cooland aircondition tube normal ? air not even on S40-V40

My 2000 v40 keep having a big water drain leak under the car their is a drain tube ...

this happend in early moring when it cold out side, but with the aircondition not even on.. why ??

it happend all the times water coming leaking down from that drain tube behind the motor... not cooland it clear clean water.. not winshield water.. is the avaport is going bad ?? any one have the same problem ??

in summer when you using the aircondition I can see this happend but in winter and all the time ?? without the air is on....

    Pardon me if someone has already responded to this. According to the thread count, there are two responses, but I couldn't find 'em.

    Chances are, you were running your defroster. The a/c kicks in automatically when the defroster is turned on. It removes moisture from inside the car. Neat, eh?

    If you had the defroster on the AC runs to help remove any moisture in the car

    If you have the defroster on, then your air conditioner is on...just a thought.
