3-1-5 code in A2 850 1994

This is a EVAPS system fault code on an 850T. I have cleared the code twice, checked the gas cap, and hoses and can't find anything that is evedently wrong. Have any of you had this problem? The valve is somewhat pricey and if there is something else I could do to fix it that would be great. Thank you in advance.

I had the same problem last fall. It's likely one of three things. 1. charcol canister 2. vacuum leak 3. evap valve(aka purge valve) The valve is the most common failure. Mine has been replaced twice in 90K. The part isn't terribly expensive ($35ish) and not too hard to replace. Working slowly I did mine in about an hour.
