Since I am fast approaching the 200k mark I went and joined the high mileage club.

Just wondering where is the proper place to put the medallion they sent me for 100k?

I want more information on this too. I have 137,720 miles on my 1994 850.

I have found two places that you can get the medallion through -

1. www.volvousa.com - you have to register and find the link in the owners circle that lets you do it online.

2. www.volvohelp.com/volvo_high_mileage_club is a site that has the form you can print and mail without the online registration.

Both require VIN and such.

I put mine on the rear of my 240 wagon, I think it looks better and you have less of a chance of loosing it. It's your choice though.

It took 2 months for my to get the 100k badge I sent in for, then 2 weeks later Volvo sent my a 2nd 100K badge, even though I only sent in for one. That one's going on my 945T when I get it.

No rules apply so it can go anywhere you'ld like it to be.

I own both a 97 850 and a 91 740. My medallion (740) is attached to the front grill. At the dealer, I've seen several done the same way.

Speaking of the medallions, I mailed in a form last fall. Anyone know when I should expect to receive mine?

I don't recall exactly when I sent in, but it was in late February and came in last week of March.

So I would say if not in hand in 4-6 weeks they lost it or some such problem.

I put mine on the rear, next to the license plate.

How did you fasten it? Did you put it directly on the painted portion?

The medallion comes with 2way tape already attached to the back. As yet I haven't decided where to put it. Seems everyone has their own ideas. I am leaning towards on the rear, to left of license plate and yes on the paint.


Where ever I end up putting I will have to sure to plan for the medallions for 200k & 300k....

where can i send away to get this?? is there a website with any information??
