Low speed ABS shudder in turns V70-XC70 1998

I have a recently purchase '98 V70. When I am in a fairly sharp turn at low speed (under 15mph) and use the brakes, I get an ABS shudder. Is the shudder a normal occurence?

I have felt this on my 98 S70 when I go in a driveway or hit a small, sharp
bump at around 15 mph. I have not felt it when turning on a road at that
speed when the road is smooth.

You sure it's not because of the winter sand on the pavement? I get the ABS kicking on stopping straight and on corners sometimes because one wheel (usually right) is sliding on sand. We have'nt swept roads here yet. (Assuming you live somewhere with snow :-) )
