Leather care products? 850 1995

Hi,

In the attempt to head off any further neglect to my leather interior, I'm looking for input on what products to use. Lexol, Armour All Leather, Meguire's? I don't mind a 2-step process, cleaning and conditioning.

Thanks,

Having trouble finding Lexol? Try the Farmers' Co-op. Tractor Supply Company carries Neatsfoot oil, Lexol, and other leather cleaning/feeding supplies.

    Erwin,
I have a '95 T5R and the leather in it had become hard, almost like cardboard. The only thing I have found to help that is from a company called leatherique. I ordered there rejuvenator oil and cleaner and it actually softened the leather up and also "closed" up some of the cracks. The leather now is very soft again like it was when it was new. I used lexol products in the past, but they didn't stop the leather from getting hard.
If you are imterested, their webpage is www.leatherique.com

    Good luck,
    John

    Thanks,

Lexol it is. I'll just have to find it locally. The local horsey and harley shop stopped carrying it.

Lexol is the way to go! You can find it pretty much at any auto store.

Lexol works well, buy it at PepBoys, not the dealer.

Eagle One makes a very good one step product also.

Lexol. I would look at a leather shop for it, as it's far less expensive than at the dealer. I paid $7 for a bottle, when it was $20 at the dealer.

Lexol has worked well on our 850. I buy my Lexol at a western shop & it`s very reasonable~5.95 per container which lasts quite awhile.

What about Suede?? -Leather care products? S70 1998

What about the split leather / suede seats like in my T5? I use a little suede eraser that my shoe repair guy recommended to raise the nap - but how can I clean it? I tires a drycleaning spray - doesn't work to well. I know that the seats were cleaned with leather cleaner - including the suede - and I can't get it back to normal...

        any help is appreciated!!

        Thanks!
