Dealer Service Prices 850 1995

Sometimes I like to remind myself of the financial benefit of doing my own service and also debate if the job is worth. I got these prices at a new dealership in my area.

Curious to hear the boards's thoughts.

ATF Flush - $175
P.Steering Flush - $65
Brake Bleed - $88
Coolant Flush - $88
A/C Charge - $152
Alignment - $129.95 (4 wheel)
Total with tax $748

Seems like there should be a package price for the flushes.

Oh yeah, Battery Check -N/C

I agree, Volvo prices are too high. At the Mercedes Benz dealer which is my reference point, you can get all of that done for about 1/2 price.

Examples: Brake Bleed $39.99, 4 wheel alignment $89.99 and ATF flush $59.99.

My Volvo dealer does an:

4 wheel alignment for $69

Tranny flush $125 Jim Paris Tire city: $89

I agree, dealers are more expensive, but if you can find a good reputable dealer, sometimes it is worth the price, considering what the car cost new. I do as much as I can myself.
