Hi,
Does anyone know how to replace the light behind the temp control swtich on my '96 850? It's the light behind the switch so you can see all the temp markings. I also need to replace the light for the driver's heated seat switch.

Whether ECC or MCC, the bulbs can be easily replaced. MCC, you remove the knobs and screws, pull out the face plate and ECC, you remove the unit and unscrew the face. Do get all new bulbs first from your dealer as you won't find them elsewhere. The same's true for your switch pilot lamps, the base on those just unscrew once the switch is popped out.

the small bulbs for other switches you can get at radio shack- in fact, dealer told me that the small bulbs are not sold and recommended to replace whole switch
