carpet (not mats) 850

does anyone know where I can get the carpet my 850 in the charcoal (almost black) grey color? I already called the dealer and had to reach for heart medication when they told me almost $800!!! I thought someone might know of an alternate & cheaper source for the same thing.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Try searching the archives, particularly the RWD archives. There are a couple of vendors for molded carpeting that have gotten good reviews. If you find one that has 850 carpets (there are vendors that definitely carry carpets for most older RWD Volvos, ask for a color swatch.) It shouldn't cost nearly $800, as I recall.

Unless you can find them on ebay, which actually isn't that rare, I would go with Weather Tech. Ebay almost ALWAYS has carpets and mats on auction for many cars, sometimes even new, for about 1/5-1/4 the price from the dealer.

I recently got these mats from Weather Tech for my Maxima that are lined with rubber, but have a carpet top. So they feel like you have carpets in there, but hold a quart and a half of water. They are a bit on the expensive side, but fit very well, feel and look like carpet, but hold 1.5 quarts of water.

You can check out their stuff at:
