anyone used Bosch oil filter? 850 1995

I used Bosch oil filter once after usual Fram ("orange stuff"- my mechanic's supplier sends Fram), and the oil looked somewhat cleaner after using bosch.
I 'd like to find out if anyone used Bosch and was it any better than Fram.

I stopped using fram after i found out they don't have the checkvalve in the oil filter even for their expensive ones, ones for the benz, etc. , this was 5 years ago so i don't know if its changed.
I have only used the factory volvo or the mann filter, which is suppose to be the factory filter but marketed under a different name, from IDP. Ken

MANN is the name of the company that makes the Volvo filters.

I also bought a case of them from IPD, they are good filters.

I have used both the Bosch and Mobil One filters. I have never compared them to the fram as I have not used them on the Volvo. I could not see any big difference between the Bosch and Mobil One so for half the price I buy the Bosch. Figured if they are good enough to make alot of other things on the Volvo the filter should be ok also.

    Hope it helps.

    Tony
