I need the electric switch that is attached to the fuel filler door and powered by the door locking mechanism. Is this a dealer only item? They want $108 for a new one. Can I do better?

    I thought mine was bad but it turned out that the tang on the fuel filler door was just bent out of position. I bent it back and now it locks like it should.

    The pin was sticking a little also so I sprayed a little silicone lube in it to free it up.

    Try Volvo of Houston (Texas) at 1-800-468-0041. The local number is 281-721-1643. I have been using them for several years.

    You might try a dealer that does mailorder. They typically sell parts for 20-25% less than your local dealer.
