Anyone replace a cap and rotor S70

Has anyone needed to replace a cap and rotor for their S70, and what was the mileage on your car. ??????

I did so (along with spark plugs) at 37K on my '98 V70R. I noticed a huge difference in performance. All removed items showed normal wear, but they were far from new condition. As in other responses, remove or loosen the air filter box to make access to cap screws easier. Good luck!

I replaced the cap, rotor, plugs & wires @ about 75,000k as it was stumbling a bit. I managed to change the cap & rotor without removing the air box as I used a flexible ratchet extension, one of the bolts was hidden from view and I had to do it by feel. It probably would be easier to remove the air box first as it likley save your knuckles.

98 S70 T5SE, stock except K&N drop in filter

I replaced the distributor cap and rotor at 87k--it really needed it. Have to remove the air filter box to do it. Will take about one hour if you are patient.
