In November I had a meeting with a LARGE raccoon. The deceased varmit destroyed my spoiler, bumper cover, air diverter, evap cannister, and various assorted fastners. My insurance company would only pay for a one piece aftermarket bumper cover/spoiler.
With a 20% discount, and reusing the evap mount, I was able to use all Volvo parts and upgrade to a better spoiler. I am not sure if it is for a turbo, a R model, or both. It is the only other spoiler listed for a 1995 850.
The description is;
Part number/description - 9151251-7 Spoiler
BIN - 243
List - 313.00
Net - 225.60
I did get it for $224
It was pretty east to install because, 1 - the raccoon took most of the old parts off and, 2 I got a new cover also. You need new fastners to attach the spoiler to the wheel wells. The pieces under the headlights must come off - just pull them forward starting from the middle - I forget how the outboard ends attach, but look behind them as you remove the inner end. I put never sieze on the bolts that hold the spoiler and cover on.
The spoiler looks pretty good. I think that it is the same height as the regular spoiler, but because it juts forward and has a less forgiving shape, you must use care when you park. The four drivers in our household have not scraped it as of yet.
