I picked up my new T5 yesterday and look forward to many miles with it. Not enough yet to form any impression though.

Two quick questions:

Is there a good online source for accessories?

Has anyone else optimized the position of the roof rack to minimize wind noise? It's intolerable over about 40 mph. I have the Volvo square rails.

Thanks in advance. I've enjoyed the board over the last couple months.

    The further back, the less noise, it seems to me. Yakima Windjammers (6" airfoils that can snap around the square Thule bars; inexpensive) help disrupt the flow over the bars and reduce noise. And my rack noise is almost entirely gone when I carry bicycles backwards with short tray wheel holders, as far back on the roof as possible. If you do this, be sure to use an extra strap around the wheel in front.
