Oil filter wrench for S80 T6? S80

Does anybody know where I could get a oil filter wrench for the cartridge cover on the S80. I've been using a universal wrench that works on a belt tension. I spoke with the local dealer and they said that there tool cost $70. Any ideas?

    The Volvo Oil Filter wrench is P/N 9995679-9 and dealer net is $23.03. Retail is whatever a dealer can get you to pay for it. Volvo has no suggested retail price for special tools because they are typically for internal dealer consumption, but many dealers would simply "double-net" the price which would mean that most would typically charge you $46.06 for the wrench.

    I bought the tool from the dealer. Way under 70 bux, in fact it was under 30, as I recall. Seems you will do better from a mail order house if your dealer is holding out for the high price.

    I purchased the Volvo tool from the dealer for thirty somethin dollars. I don't recall the actual price. If its the same as my V40, I would not suggest using anything else, it would be very difficult.

    IPD sells it for $28. See http://www.ipdusa.com/ProductsList.aspx?subSubCategoryID=231

    Others have reported success with a cheap generic adjustable strap wrench.
