Rear speaker grill S60 2001

My daughter kicked the speaker grill on the rear door and it cracked. I bought a new one from the dealer and now I can't figure out how to get the old one off. On my 850, you just pryed with a pointed instrument at the bottom and it came out. This one doesn't want to come off. What is the trick?

I'm affraid you have to remove the door-cover (I'm sorry, don't know the word in English). I think the grill is glued to the door cover. For changing speakers you have to remove the door cover too in order to reach the speakers.

Good luck,

Dutchman

Man, that's always been a dumb way of doing things. Why would you glue speaker grilles to a door panel?

Glad my stereo rocks, I wont have to pull the grilles anytime soon!
